Play 2 Progress is a children’s learning center where skills are built for the journey through childhood using the power of play. A variety of classes such as Mommy and Me, Kindergarten Readiness and Sensory Movement Camp are lead by occupational therapists and early childhood educators. Play 2 Progress’ state of the art facility features a sensory gym, sensory rooms and individual classrooms. The therapists leverage a deep understanding of the science of child development to provide creative and effective programs disguised as play and offer them to all children. Whether improving motor planning & coordination, building the skills to manage big feelings and be in control of little bodies or teaching new moms to play with their babies in ways that boost development and promote cognition, its programs give kids a developmental boost by doing what they do best… play!

Meet the co-founder: Dr. Allie Ticktin is a licensed occupational therapist with a specialty in sensory integration and early childhood development. Allie’s life work is to empower children to celebrate their differences through play, and she believes it is necessary to customize each child’s treatment to his or her needs. Allie enables every child to reach a new level of confidence through an individualized plan created through collaboration with the child’s family, teacher and broader support network. Allie founded Play 2 Progress after recognizing the power of social play to facilitate individual progress. Through individual and group sessions with children, Allie is able to facilitate notable growth across both school and home environments.
